Identity

passport

1. Physical Passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of return to your home country. Please note that the passport booklet should have a minimum of 2 blank pages for official use. 
• All old Passport (s) (If any).
• Passports with handwritten entries are not accepted.
• Photocopy of the Passport front & Last page.
• Photocopy of visa issued in the past (If any).
• Passports issued beyond 10 years will not be accepted by the Embassy.

Photographs

1. Four hard copies of studio-o-clicked photographs (35X45 MM with75-80% face coverage) with white background and without border and matte finish. 
1. The photograph must be colored and recently taken within the last three months (Black and white photographs will not be accepted). 
2. The visa photo should not have been used in any previous visa applications.
3. Size - 35X45 MM, against White Background with darker clothes and 75 to 80 % Face Visibility.
4. Photographs should be in matte/semi-matte finish.
5. Face Should be facing straight toward camera.
6. The parts of the face and the eyes must be clearly presented. 
7. Hair or fringes should not cover the face and both ears should be clearly visible. 
8. Teeth must not be visible.
9. Spectacles or Sunglasses are not allowed.
10. Headgears are not allowed Except Religious reasons.

Single:

Minor

1. Birth Certificate Copy.
2. Minor needs a consent letter from both parents (If traveling alone or with one parent). The consent NOC must be on 100 Rupees stamp paper with photos of both parents of minors and should be notarized.
3. A photocopy of the parent's passport or Legal identity document must be provided.
4. The guardian has to be legally authorized by the minor's parents to accompany him/her and take any measures that are needed in case of illness, accident, etc.)
5. If minor is in school, then School ID card is mandatory. And NOC from the school.

Student Documents 

1. Child (Under the age of 18) needs a consent letter from both parents (If traveling alone or with one parent). 
2. The consent NOC must be on 100 Rupees stamp paper with photos of both parents of the child and should be notarized.
3. A photocopy of the parent's passport must be provided.
4. The guardian has to be legally authorized by the minor's parents to accompany him/her and take any measures that are needed in case of illness, accident, etc.)
5. If the applicant is under the age of 18, a copy of their birth certificate is required.
6. Original Leave Letter/No-Objection Certificate from current school/university /institute on their letterhead with ID card copy.
   • Student Name, Position, Leave Period as per travel plan with seal and sign by authorized person of school/university /institute.
   • Signatory Name, designation & Contact Number should be on the letterhead.

1. Retirement Certificate.

Married:

If Visiting for Honeymoon

1. NOC from Boy & girls parents’ side with parent’s signature ID Proof like Passport, Pan Card copy etc.

   • Parents NOC Format - North & East Zone
   • Parents NOC Affidavit Format
2. Original wedding card from both sides.
3. If already married then, couples need to either have the names endorsed on the passports or else provide Notarized Marriage Certificate (English Language).
4. If the marriage certificate is not available and the couple is already married then the notarized affidavit on 100 Rupees required with Mantralaya stamp on it.

If Married and Traveling without Spouse

1. If the dependent wife/husband is traveling alone, a NOC from the non-traveling partner is required, as well as non-traveling partner valid government approved id proof with sponsor all financial documents.

Self-Employed

1. ITR for last one year
2. Last 6 months bank statements (Personal) that include the following information:
   • Name & address of the Bank.
   • Telephone number of the Bank.
   • Personal Bank statements should have the sufficient balance maintained. 
   • Bank Seal & Sign by authorized person of bank on each page of bank statement.
   • 1.5 Lakhs per person.

Financials

Salaried

1. Last 6 months Salaried bank statements which are attested with bank seal and signature that include the following information:
   • Name & address of the Bank.
   • Telephone number of the Bank.
   • Bank statements should have the sufficient balance maintained. 
   • Bank Seal & Sign by authorized person of bank on each page of bank statement.
   • Minimum balance 1 Lakh per person.
   • Personal bank statements for the last 6 months are also necessary if a salaried account does not have sufficient funds with bank seal and signature.
